The gift is for you. It's right there, for your taking.

But because it is a gift, you can accept or reject it.

We pray you accept it!

What does accepting that gift look like? It's as simple as surrender. It's as easy as resting. It's ceasing from our striving after our own goodness, and placing our faith, hope and trust in Jesus Christ. Recognizing Him as who he says he is. And...nothing else.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.  (John 3:16-18)

That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.  (Romans 10:9-10)

Yet to all who received him [Jesus], to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.  (John 1:12)
